George Pickens reported to the Dallas Cowboys' facility ahead of the start of mandatory minicamp after missing all of the team's voluntary offseason activities, a source told ESPN's Todd Archer.
Pickens, who is signed under the franchise tag, needs to show up to minicamp in order to avoid being fined. He's apparently taking his physical Monday, and the mandatory camp begins Tuesday.
Head coach Brian Schottenheimer said last week that the franchise and the wideout were on the same page despite Pickens' absence. The coach also noted that Pickens would be limited at mandatory minicamp after missing the voluntary workouts, according to Archer.
Pickens' one-year franchise tag is worth $27.3 million. The two sides have until July 15 to work out a long-term deal. However, executive vice president Stephen Jones said earlier this offseason that the team plans to have the receiver play the 2026 season on his one-year tender.
The Pro Bowl wideout had a career year in Dallas in 2025 after being acquired in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pickens posted 93 catches, 1,429 yards, and nine touchdowns.
