The Kansas City Chiefs are trading offensive tackle Wanya Morris to the Atlanta Falcons, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

The Chiefs are sending Morris and a 2027 seventh-rounder to Atlanta for a 2027 sixth-round pick, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

The deal comes days after reports that the offensive tackle was exploring trade options.

The Chiefs selected Morris in the third round of the 2023 draft, but he hasn't been able to cement himself in the lineup. He started 16 games over his three seasons, 11 of them in 2024. He started one contest last year.

The Falcons' offensive tackle depth chart is headlined by Jake Matthews and free-agent signee Jawaan Taylor. Atlanta needed more options at tackle following the retirement of Kaleb McGary, who walked away from the game after missing all of last season due to a knee injury.
