Senators' Chabot out 4-8 weeks after arm surgery
Ottawa Senators defenseman Thomas Chabot will be sidelined four-to-eight weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a broken bone in his arm, head coach Travis Green announced Thursday, according to Sportsnet.
Chabot exited Monday's game against the New York Rangers after getting cross-checked by J.T. Miller.

The Senators are in a precarious position, currently holding the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference. The Senators and New York Islanders both have 85 points but Ottawa has played one fewer game.
Chabot, 29, has been a key contributor for the Senators this season, scoring seven goals and adding 24 assists in 54 games. He was averaging over 22 minutes per contest.
