Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett plans to report to minicamp this week despite his contract impasse with the team, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and Josh Weinfuss.

It's unclear how much Brissett will be involved in on-field activities as he seeks a contract extension, Fowler and Weinfuss note.

Brissett, who has one year left on his contract and is due a base salary of $4.9 million in 2026, didn't attend the start of Arizona's offseason program in April.

The 33-year-old presumably enters minicamp as the front-runner to be Arizona's QB1. He's reportedly requested a new deal that would reward him with a starting-level salary.

Brissett started 11 games for Arizona in 2025, completing 64.9% of his passes for 3,366 yards and 23 touchdowns against eight interceptions. He's made 65 starts in his NFL career.

The Cardinals' quarterback depth chart also features Gardner Minshew, third-round rookie Carson Beck, and Kedon Slovis.
