We got back into the green last week with a 3-2 record on our college football best bets. There are only a few big slates remaining this season, so let's get right into it for Week 15.

Here are the three games I've circled for Saturday.

Akron @ Buffalo (-32, 59), 2:30 p.m. ET

Buffalo's offense leads the nation in scoring, but its defense is catching my attention.

The Bulls rank No. 60 in the country in SP+ defense. The next-best MAC unit is Central Michigan, all the way back at No. 78. Buffalo has been better defensively than programs such as LSU, Central Florida, and North Carolina.

Then there's Akron, which scored 13-plus points for the second time all season last week against Bowling Green, and the Falcons field one of the few defenses nationwide that the Zips can generate anything against.

Buffalo presents a monster mismatch for Akron's offense.

Pick: Akron team total under 13.5 or better

North Carolina @ Miami (-3, 67.5), 3:30 ET

This is easily the Week 15 game in which 100 points could easily be scored.

North Carolina has gone under the total in two straight following a four-game over streak, but I'm not worried. The Tar Heels field the nation's No. 4-ranked SP+ offense, and they're slotted among the top 20 in both rushing and passing yards per game.

Plenty of weapons support quarterback Sam Howell as he faces a defense down one of its best players in cornerback Al Blades Jr.

The Hurricanes, meanwhile, won't be afraid to match North Carolina's pace. They run 76.8 plays per game and have averaged 39 points per contest over their last three outings.

With the ACC title a moot point for these two squads, expect a free-flowing shootout.

Pick: Over 67.5

Louisiana Tech @ TCU (-23.5, 51.5), 7:00 p.m.

This is a solid spot to play the under, as both Louisiana Tech and TCU are trending in that direction.

The Bulldogs have cashed eight of their last 10 unders as road underdogs, and 12 of their last 16 as visitors overall. The Horned Frogs, meanwhile, have hit four straight unders at home, and nine of their last 11 in December.

TCU has held three of its last four Big 12 opponents to 22 points or fewer at home. The school shouldn't struggle against Louisiana Tech, which has averaged 15.5 points per game against top-25 SP+ defenses, and 37.1 against every other opponent this season.

The Horned Frogs are No. 26 in that department. This should be a tough test for the mid-major, and points will be at a premium.

Pick: Under 51.5
