Kansas State guard Cartier Diarra is leaving the program as a grad transfer, coach Bruce Weber confirmed.

"Cartier has informed me of his desire to rest his pro basketball opportunities with the option to transfer to another school for his final season of eligibility," Weber said, according to KSN News' Kendra Melinda. "I'm supportive of Cartier's decision and appreciate the time he has given this program the last four years. He has been a part of many great moments here."

Diarra averaged 13.3 points, 4.2 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game as a junior. He started 27 of 32 games for the Wildcats this season.

After posting a 50-21 record over Diarra's first two seasons, Kansas State went just 11-21 (.344) in 2019-20 - the program's worst record since the 1999-00 season.
