The Chicago Bulls selected former North Carolina star freshman Caleb Wilson with the No. 4 overall pick in Tuesday's NBA draft.

Wilson joins Patrick Williams in 2020 as the only top-four picks made by the Bulls after they drafted Derrick Rose first overall in 2008.

Wilson was the heart and soul of the Tar Heels last season. In an All-American campaign, the 19-year-old led North Carolina in scoring, rebounding, and steals per contest, joining Tyler Hansbrough as the only freshman Tar Heels to ever do so. Except Wilson led last year's squad in blocks, too, and his ridiculous athleticism and mobility for his size elevate him to another tier as a two-way prospect in comparison to Hansbrough.

WIlson's biggest strength is his unreal natural athleticism, but it's complemented by surprising agility and coordination for his near-7-foot frame, allowing him to get to the basket in the first place. While he's hardest to stop when he gets downhill, he also has a delicate touch from the mid-range and can deploy an effective pull-up jumper when necessary. His ceiling as a pro may ultimately be determined by his development as a long-range shooter; he attempted just over one three per game as a Tar Heel, but his 25.9% clip in combination with a 71.3% mark from the free-throw line indicates his shot needs some retooling to be viable at the NBA level.
