Yankees remove Judge vs. Twins with lower leg tightness

The New York Yankees removed star outfielder Aaron Judge in the sixth inning of Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Twins due to right lower leg tightness, the team announced.

Heliot Ramos pinch-hit for Judge to start the sixth and struck out. New York trailed Minnesota 2-0 when Judge departed the game.

Judge, 0-for-2 with two strikeouts before leaving, was seen grimacing in his final at-bat.

Judge has appeared in six games since returning from a rib fracture that sidelined him for four months.

The three-time MVP is hitting .174/.208/.304 with 13 strikeouts in 23 at-bats since rejoining the Yankees.
