Free-agent utility player Kiké Hernández has whittled down the finalists for his services to four teams, sources told The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal.

The Los Angeles Angels, Minnesota Twins, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco Giants are reportedly the clubs Hernández is considering.

Hernández began the 2023 campaign with the Boston Red Sox and slashed .222/.279/.320 with six home runs and 31 RBIs in 86 games before being traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in July.

His numbers improved with the Dodgers, posting a .731 OPS with five homers and 30 RBIs in 54 contests.

Hernández underwent double-hernia surgery in October and was expected to be fully recovered before spring training got underway.

The 2020 World Series champion owns a .239/.311/.409 slash line with 108 homers and 393 RBIs over a 10-year career between the Dodgers, Red Sox, Houston Astros, and Miami Marlins.

The 32-year-old has hit particularly well against left-handed pitching, recording a career .801 OPS versus southpaws.
