Kylian Mbappe is inevitable.

The France captain scored an absolute beauty in the 60th minute to beat Morocco goalkeeper Yassine Bounou and give his team a 1-0 lead in the second half of Thursday's quarterfinal.

Mbappe's goal, which tied him with Lionel Messi for the most at the 2026 World Cup with eight each, came after he had already missed a penalty.
