McIlroy, Thomas, Watson to compete in Peloton All-Star Ride
Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, and Bubba Watson are three of the 16 athletes who will compete in the Peloton All-Star Ride on Saturday, according to ESPN.
McIlroy, Thomas, and Watson have regularly competed against each other on the Peloton bike since the PGA Tour's hiatus began, according to Golf.com's Rachel Bleier. McIlroy is unofficially known as the Tour's "Peloton King."
If the 16 riders combine to reach an output wattage of 3,000 kilojoules, Peloton will donate 1 million meals to the Food Bank For New York City.
Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph, Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward, and broadcaster Anthony "Booger" McFarland are among the participants joining the golfers in the men's competition.
On the female side, LPGA pro Morgan Pressel will contend with former No. 1 tennis player Victoria Azarenka and Olympic gold medalist Allyson Felix, among others.
The event can be watched live on ESPN starting at noon ET.
