Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor provided updates on star receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, who each left Sunday's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars with injuries.

Taylor confirmed Monday that Chase is in the league's concussion protocol, according to Prime Video's James Palmer.

Chase missed the second half of Sunday's contest after Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones dragged him down by his facemask, which drew a penalty. The All-Pro wideout then took a hit from linebacker Ventrell Miller while falling to the turf. He remained on his back for several seconds before leaving the field.

Chase recorded three receptions for 27 yards prior to his exit.

Additionally, Taylor said Higgins is day-to-day with an adductor injury, per Palmer.

The Bengals leaned heavily on Higgins, who caught 11 passes for 157 yards, after Chase's departure. The 27-year-old sustained his injury while making a leaping grab down the sideline during the fourth quarter. He took one more snap before leaving the game.

Chase' and Higgins' statuses for Cincinnati's Week 5 game against the Miami Dolphins remain uncertain. The Bengals are already without receiver Andrei Iosivas, who's on injured reserve.
