Donald makes 1st NFL appearance since 2023 season on MNF vs. Giants

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald made his season debut during Monday's 28-6 win over the New York Giants.

It was Donald's first NFL appearance since January 2024. He sat out the Rams' season opener in Australia after ending a two-year retirement in August.

The three-time Defensive Player of the Year recorded three tackles (one for loss) against the Giants.

Donald originally retired in March 2024 after spending 10 seasons with the Rams. The 35-year-old racked up 111 career sacks while earning eight first-team All-Pro nods.

The Rams faced the Giants without star receiver Puka Nacua due to a hip injury. They were also missing defensive end Myles Garrett, who landed on injured reserve with a knee ailment after L.A.'s Week 1 loss in Australia.
