Las Vegas Raiders star Brock Bowers is expected to miss "a game or two" after undergoing a meniscus trim Tuesday, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport.
Bowers reportedly sustained the injury during training camp, and it was diagnosed last week.
The Raiders play the Miami Dolphins on Sunday before taking on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 20.
Bowers took the league by storm after being selected 13th overall in the 2024 draft. As a rookie, he led all tight ends in receiving yards (1,194) and set a franchise with 112 receptions on his way to being named a first-team All-Pro.
The 23-year-old struggled to replicate his impressive start in 2025 due in large part to a knee injury. He finished the year with 64 receptions for 680 yards and seven touchdowns over 12 appearances.
The Raiders hope that Bowers can return to form in his first season under new head coach Klint Kubiak, though they'll have to wait a little while longer to see how he fares in the new offense.
Michael Mayer and Ian Thomas will likely see more snaps in Bowers' absence.
