The Buffalo Bills' $2.2-billion Highmark Stadium hosted its first public event Saturday, and some spectators weren't satisfied with their experience.

A record crowd attended the Bills' annual Return of the Blue & Red practice, but some fans discovered the view from their seats was obstructed and shared their frustration on social media.

"We are currently addressing internal and external feedback regarding the facility's operation following the first event," the Bills said in a statement via Front Office Sports' Eric Fisher. "We'll utilize the next six weeks to refine any details as we prepare for the home opener on Sept. 17."

Spectators specifically noted poor sight lines from the stadium's upper deck. However, some of the seats being criticized will not be sold for Bills games.

The Bills said they'll make changes ahead of their home opener against the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football.

Buffalo has heard from fewer than 1% of its personal seat-license holders regarding obstructed views, sources told Fisher.

While the stadium received mixed reviews from spectators, the players approved of their new digs.

"We love the new stadium, love everything about it," linebacker Greg Rousseau said, per team reporters Alex White, Mike Maynard, and Maddy Glab. "But we know when we're in here, it's not time to enjoy the scenes in the venue. It's time to play football. It's time to win some games."
