Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston isn't on the trade block despite rumors suggesting otherwise, general manager Joe Hortiz said Thursday.

"There's a lot of rumors out there on Twitter," Hortiz said, according to ESPN's Kris Rhim. "And I can tell you this, I have made zero calls about Quentin, and I've had zero calls regarding Quentin."

Speculation about Johnston's future has ramped up as the Chargers approach the May 1 deadline to exercise the wideout's fully guaranteed $18.1-million option on the fifth season of his rookie contract.

Hortiz added that the team is still weighing the decision.

Johnston, 24, has developed into a key downfield target for the Chargers. His yards per reception have increased each of the last two years, peaking at 14.4 in 2025. He also produced 700-plus yards and eight touchdowns each of the previous two campaigns.
