Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed broke his collarbone in Thursday's 28-17 win over the Washington Commanders, head coach Matt LaFleur revealed postgame, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.
Reed will undergo surgery next week, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The Packers hope that their talented wideout can return in November.
Reed suffered the injury in the first quarter, coming down hard on his shoulder on a deep ball from Jordan Love.

The 25-year-old is coming off his best season as a pro, putting up a career-high 857 yards in 2024. He also had six touchdowns on 55 catches.
A second-round pick in 2023, it took Reed little time to find his role in the Packers' offense. He caught 64 passes for 793 yards and eight scores as a rookie.
Green Bay has a receiving group that features the likes of Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, and first-round rookie Matthew Golden, among others.
