The Minnesota Vikings agree to terms with cornerback Byron Murphy ahead of free agency, the team announced Monday.

Murphy, 27, signed a three-year, $66-million contract, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.

Murphy earned his first career Pro Bowl nod after a stellar 2024 campaign in which he recorded 81 tackles, six tackles for loss, and six interceptions.

Murphy spent the last two seasons with the Vikings. The first four years of his career came with the Arizona Cardinals, who selected him in the second round of the 2019 draft.

Minnesota is keeping one of its starters in the fold after seeing several contributors from its 14-3 team leave during the legal tampering period. Quarterback Sam Darnold and safety Camryn Bynum are among notable departures from last year's roster.

The Vikings could have a different look at cornerback behind Murphy next season, with Stephon Gilmore and Shaq Griffin set to become unrestricted free agents.
