Giants' Lawrence dislocates elbow in loss to Cowboys
New York Giants defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence said Thursday he dislocated his elbow during a 27-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
Lawrence, who left the game prematurely due to the injury, was seen postgame with his elbow in a sling. The two-time Pro Bowler said he'll undergo further tests in the next few days to determine how much time he may miss.
Lawrence recorded three tackles before exiting Thursday's game in the third quarter. He sustained the injury while trying to make a tackle.
Arguably the NFL's best defensive tackle, Lawrence has put on a show this season, registering 16 QB hits, eight tackles for loss, and nine sacks - the best single-season mark of his career.
The 27-year-old has appeared in 92 games since the Giants drafted him in the first round in 2019.
