The New York Giants will start quarterback Drew Lock against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday.
Tommy DeVito will be inactive due to a forearm injury but will serve as the emergency third quarterback.
DeVito missed practice Wednesday and flew into Dallas later than the rest of his team due to the injury. He was considered a long shot to start.
The Thanksgiving matchup will be Lock's first start with the Giants. He's previously started 23 games over his career with the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks, posting a 9-14 record.
A former second-round pick of the Broncos in 2019, Lock has thrown for 28 career touchdowns to 23 interceptions.
Tim Boyle will serve as Lock's backup.
