Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf is believed to have avoided a major knee injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Metcalf was carted to the locker room in the second half during Sunday's 34-14 win over the Atlanta Falcons. The 26-year-old is expected to undergo more tests Monday, Rapoport adds.

Head coach Mike Macdonald said postgame the Seahawks were optimistic regarding the severity of Metcalf's injury and that the ailment "doesn't look too bad," per ESPN's Brady Henderson.

Metcalf recorded 99 yards and a score on four receptions before exiting the win. The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder leads Seattle with 568 receiving yards this season. He's also recorded three touchdowns on 35 receptions in seven games.

The two-time Pro Bowler has tallied 407 receptions for 5,900 yards and 46 touchdowns in 89 career contests.
