Head coach Sean McVay expects wide receiver Cooper Kupp to be in the lineup when the Los Angeles Rams play the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football, according to ESPN's Sarah Barshop.

Kupp hasn't played since spraining his ankle in the Rams' Week 2 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Super Bowl LVI MVP was listed as questionable prior to the team's 20-15 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. He was ruled inactive after working out before the game.

Kupp recorded 18 catches for 147 yards and one touchdown prior to being sidelined for nearly a month.

The 2021 All-Pro receiver has reportedly received some trade interest from several clubs recently, but Los Angeles apparently isn't considering parting with Kupp.

Kupp is three seasons removed from a stellar 2021 campaign where he achieved the receiving triple crown, leading the NFL with 145 receptions, 1,947 yards, and 16 touchdowns. However, he's played in just 23 games since.

Kupp's impending return could provide a spark for a Rams receiving corps that's been hit by injuries. Puka Nacua has been out of action after sustaining a knee injury in L.A.'s season opener.
