Report: Davante Adams to miss 3rd straight game with hamstring injury
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams won't play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a hamstring injury, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Adams, who recently requested a trade from the team, missed the Raiders' past two games.
Las Vegas has reportedly had conversations with multiple clubs regarding a potential Adams trade - including the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints - but hasn't been able to reach an agreement with them. The Steelers are apparently also interested in acquiring the six-time Pro Bowl wideout.
One of the greatest receivers of his era, Adams has caught 18 passes for 209 yards and one touchdown in three appearances in 2024.
With Adams unavailable again, the Raiders will likely continue to rely on wide receiver Jakobi Meyers and rookie tight end Brock Bowers as the team's main weapons. Bowers leads the club with 28 receptions and 313 receiving yards this year.
Las Vegas head coach Antonio Pierce made a change a QB for Week 6, as the Raiders will start Aidan O'Connell over Gardner Minshew, the team's QB1 through the campaign's first five games.
