Oregon lands commitment from Rutgers transfer Jacob Young

Rutgers transfer Jacob Young has committed to play for the Oregon Ducks next season, he announced Wednesday.

Young averaged 14.1 points on 46.9 shooting along with 3.4 assists and 1.7 steals in 28 games last season. The senior previously declared for the NBA draft and has one year of college eligibility remaining.
He's set to join a Ducks squad that finished atop the Pac-12 with a 21-7 record.
Oregon also recently added former Syracuse forward Quincy Guerrier. The All-ACC third-team selection registered 13.7 points and 8.4 rebounds per game while shooting 49.3% from the field.
