Prospective suitors for LeBron James have sent voice notes to the superstar free agent in an attempt to recruit him, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania and Dave McMenamin.

James' agent, Rich Paul, has facilitated the exchange for team executives to sell the four-time champion on joining their respective franchises. Charania adds that various owners, team presidents, and general managers have recorded voice notes in an attempt to entice James.

It's unclear which teams have participated in the process, though James already has a relationship with the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers - two of his top reported suitors.

Bob Myers, the president of sports for Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, recently appeared on the "Game Over with Max Kellerman and Rich Paul" podcast to sell James on joining the Philadelphia 76ers, stating it was his "best chance to win."

The 41-year-old is about to embark on his record 24th season. In late June, the 22-time All-Star informed the Los Angeles Lakers that he would be continuing his career elsewhere after an eight-year stint with the club.
