Trae Young will make his Washington Wizards debut Thursday against the Utah Jazz, the point guard confirmed Monday on Instagram.

Washington head coach Brian Keefe told reporters later Monday that Young will play approximately 17-20 minutes, according to NBA insider Marc Stein.

The Wizards acquired Young in a trade with the Atlanta Hawks on Jan. 9, but the 27-year-old has been sidelined by knee and quad injuries since late December.

Young averaged 19.3 points and 8.9 assists in 10 appearances for the Hawks this season. The four-time All-Star will run point for a youthful Wizards squad that features Kyshawn George and Tre Johnson.

The Wizards also added veteran big Anthony Davis in a Feb. 5 trade, but he hasn't suited up for the team yet.

Washington (16-43) sits 13th in the Eastern Conference standings entering play Monday.
