Edey out at least 4 weeks with stress reaction in ankle

Memphis Grizzlies center Zach Edey sustained a stress reaction in his left ankle and will be re-evaluated in four weeks, his agent, Mark Bartelstein, told Shams Charania of ESPN.
"This is a management plan to optimize Zach's long-term health in consultation with the Grizzlies and medical experts," Bartelstein said.
He added, "Following this step, the short- and long-term prognosis for Zach is excellent."
Edey is averaging 13.6 points and 11.1 rebounds in 11 games during his sophomore campaign.
The seven-footer has been especially good over his last six appearances, averaging 16.5 points, 14 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks.
Memphis is 11-13 but has won seven of its last nine games.
