Luka Doncic scored 52 points on 17-of-30 shooting as the Los Angeles Lakers topped the Utah Jazz 132-123 on Sunday in Salt Lake City.

Doncic's 10th career game of 50 or more points is the highest total in the NBA this season.

The six-time All-Star also recorded eight rebounds, 10 assists, and eight made 3-pointers as the Lakers clawed back from an 18-point deficit at the end of the first quarter to remain unbeaten on the season.

Austin Reaves had 29 points on 7-of-12 shooting for the Lakers. Walker Kessler recorded two points and seven boards in his first game back in Utah after being shipped to the Lakers in July. Kessler inked a four-year, $130 million pact as part of the sign-and-trade deal.

Lauri Markkanen led the hosts with 28 points on 9-of-19 shooting while Keyonte George had 24 points, nine rebounds, and 10 assists in a losing cause. Jaren Jackson Jr. added 20 points and Ace Bailey had 17 points and 12 rebounds.

The Lakers overcame a sloppy first quarter to claim a 74-71 lead at halftime. Both teams put up 29 points in the third frame before Doncic capped a 14-5 run with back-to-back 3-pointers to snatch the lead with 1:42 left in the fourth quarter.

Next up for the 3-0 Lakers is a visit Tuesday from Damian Lillard and the new-look Portland Trail Blazers.
