Brewers manager Pat Murphy appeared to take a shot at the New York Yankees while celebrating Milwaukee's World Series win with Jake Bauers on Wednesday.

"You're gonna be a rich f----r," Murphy told Bauers after the first baseman gave him the final-out ball. "Just remember when you're on that horseshit Yankees team and you guys are all playing for yourselves, just remember this is the way we used to do it."

Bauers, who appeared in 84 games for the Yankees in 2023, shared a laugh with his manager before responding, "You ain't getting rid of me that easy."

The 31-year-old is set to hit free agency after enjoying a career year with the Brewers. He slashed .266/.389/.484 with 26 home runs, 22 doubles, and 86 RBIs in the regular season and then proceeded to win NLCS MVP during Milwaukee's sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
