Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy isn't stressing about his team's 2-0 NLCS deficit.
"There's still a lot of series left," Muncy said following Monday's Game 2 loss against the Milwaukee Brewers, according to SportsNet LA. "Obviously, you would like to come out here with one, hopefully two, but that wasn't the case this time. They're playing really well over there."
The three-time All-Star added: "I'm still gonna bet on us. ... We can easily go out there and win three or four in a row."
Muncy was part of the 2020 Dodgers that came back from a 2-0 and 3-1 hole against the Atlanta Braves in the NLCS en route to winning the World Series during the pandemic-shortened season. Los Angeles also fought back from a 3-2 deficit vs. the Toronto Blue Jays in last year's Fall Classic to secure a second straight championship.
The 36-year-old is eager to return to L.A. for Wednesday's Game 3 .
"We need them to show up. We need them to be loud," Muncy said when asked what he would tell fans coming to Dodger Stadium. "I will give Milwaukee credit. This place (American Family Field) was electric the last two nights. We need to be the same way at home. Make them feel like we've been feeling."
The Dodgers will send two-time Cy Young winner Blake Snell to the mound Wednesday. The Brewers have tabbed Robert Gasser as their starter.
