Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a strained left hamstring injury, the team announced.
The Braves selected outfielder José Azócar to the major league roster in a corresponding move.
Acuña left Saturday's game against the Colorado Rockies in the second inning and didn't return. He grounded out to shortstop and came up limping as he ran up the line while clutching the back of his left leg. Eli White replaced him in right field to start the bottom of the frame.

Acuña hasn't played more than 95 games in a season since his 2023 MVP campaign. He missed most of 2024 with a torn left ACL, then was limited to 95 games last year because of an Achilles injury.
The 28-year-old was enjoying a solid start to his 2026 season, hitting .252/.362/.378 with two homers, nine RBIs, 20 walks, and seven steals across 152 plate appearances. Acuña's played in all 34 of the Braves' games so far.
Atlanta finished play Saturday with MLB's best record at 24-10.
