The 23-year-old initially entered the 2025 draft, but withdrew his declaration and transferred to the Hurricanes last January after a five-year run at Georgia, where he won two national titles.</p><p>Entering the 2024 campaign, the 23-year-old was considered a top NFL prospect. He tore a ligament in his elbow in December of that season, sidelining him for Georgia's College Football Playoff game against Notre Dame. Following the Bulldogs' Sugar Bowl loss, he opted to leave the program.</p><p>Beck finishes his college career with a 37-6 record as a starter.</p><p>"I'm just grateful for that opportunity and this whole team and what we were able to accomplish. <p>The Philadelphia Eagles fired offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo, the team announced Tuesday.</p><p>Patullo, 44, spent one season in the role after being promoted when his predecessor, Kellen Moore, took the New Orleans Saints head coaching job.</p><p>"(Patullo) has been integral to this team's success over the last five years, not only to the on-field product but behind the scenes as a valued leader for our players and organization," head coach Nick Sirianni said in a statement.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>"I have no doubt he will continue to have a successful coaching career. Ultimately, when we fall short of our goals, that responsibility lies on my shoulders."</p><p>The move comes two days after the Eagles lost 23-19 to the San Francisco 49ers in the wild-card round. Philly's offense gained just 23 yards on its first four drives of the second half, allowing San Francisco to take control. The Eagles drove down into 49ers territory with under a minute remaining but were stopped on fourth-and-11.</p><p>Philadelphia's offense took a significant step back in 2025. After ranking fifth in points per game during its Super Bowl-winning season, Patullo's unit finished 24th in yards per contest and 23rd in success rate, according to <a href="https://rbsdm.com/stats/stats/">Ben Baldwin's database</a>. The Eagles also struggled to maintain drives and had an abundance of negative plays, ranking first in the NFL in three-and-out rate.</p><p>One of the main problems with Philly's offense was its predictability. Patullo, after serving as the Eagles' pass game coordinator for four seasons, ran an offense this past campaign that posted the highest hitch-route rate (23.5%) since at least 2012, when route-frequency tracking began, according to TruMedia.</p><p>The Eagles' rushing attack also wasn't nearly as productive. <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/99272" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/99272">Saquon Barkley</a>, who led the league with 2,009 rushing yards in 2024, finished with 1,140 yards in 2025, averaging 4.1 yards per carry.</p><p>Philadelphia's issues piled up despite boasting the NFL's most expensive offense, according to <a href="https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/position/offense/_/year/2025/sort/cash_total">Spotrac</a>. Players such as Barkley, <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/105247" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/105247">Jalen Hurts</a>, <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/111194" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/111194">A.J. <p>Mike Tomlin informed the Pittsburgh Steelers that he's stepping down as head coach, the team announced Tuesday.</p><p>"Obviously, I am extremely grateful to Mike for all the hard work, dedication, and success we have shared over the last 19 years," team president Art Rooney II said in a statement. "It is hard for me to put into words the level of respect and appreciation I have for Coach Tomlin."</p><p>Tomlin has been Pittsburgh's head coach since 2007. His decision follows the Steelers' 30-6 loss to the Houston Texans in the wild-card round Monday.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>The 53-year-old declined to answer questions about his future with the club after the game. Monday's defeat marked the third straight year that Pittsburgh finished with a 10-7 record but was one-and-done in the postseason, being outscored 131-58 in those losses. The Steelers and Tomlin haven't won a playoff game since the 2016 season.</p><p>Tomlin leaves the Steelers with two years remaining on his deal after signing an extension in 2024. Because he is under contract, Pittsburgh retains his coaching rights through the 2027 campaign. The team could negotiate trade compensation if he wants to return to coaching before his extension expires.</p><p>The belief around the league is that Tomlin will spend at least one year working in media before deciding his next move, according to <a href="https://x.com/Schultz_Report/status/2011155594368213207?s=20">NFL insider Jordan Schultz</a>.</p><p>Tomlin ends his tenure with the Steelers boasting a 193-114-2 regular-season record, tying him for the ninth-most wins among all head coaches in NFL history. He never experienced a losing season in his 19 years with the club, with his worst record being 8-8. He won Super Bowl XLIII in just his second campaign in Pittsburgh and returned to the big game just two years later, but ultimately lost to the Green Bay Packers.</p><p>Tomlin never returned to the Super Bowl after that defeat. He holds an 8-12 postseason record, including a 3-10 stint over the last 15 years. Pittsburgh made the playoffs in 2025 after Baltimore Ravens kicker Tyler Loop missed a potential game-winning 44-yard field goal as time expired in Week 18.</p><p>Quarterback instability has been the Steelers' biggest problem in recent seasons, using five different Week 1 starters since Ben Roethlisberger retired in 2021. Aaron Rodgers became Pittsburgh's starting signal-caller this season after signing a one-year deal in the offseason. The 42-year-old led the Steelers to an AFC North title but turned the ball over twice Monday night, and the offense failed to score a touchdown.</p><p>Pittsburgh now becomes the ninth team with a head coaching opening this cycle. John Harbaugh, who faced Tomlin 44 times during his tenure as the Ravens' head coach, was fired last week after an 18-year run. He spent the last two seasons as the Sun Devils' primary starter after transferring from Michigan State.</p><p>The 21-year-old's 2025 campaign was cut short by an ankle injury, and he ultimately suited up in just seven games. Leavitt led Arizona State to the College Football Playoff in 2024 and has accumulated 4,652 career passing yards and 36 touchdowns during his career.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>He represents new LSU head coach Lane Kiffin's first big win on the recruiting trail. Leavitt visited several schools before settling on the Tigers, including stops at Tennessee, Kentucky, and Miami after entering the portal Dec. 9.</p><p>LSU is coming off a disappointing 7-6 season, including a 3-5 conference record. The Tigers ranked last in yards per game among SEC schools while averaging 22.8 points.</p><p> </p>

<p>Former Nebraska quarterback <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///ncaaf/players/198414" href="https://thescore.com/ncaaf/players/198414">Dylan Raiola</a> is transferring to Oregon, he announced Monday.</p><p>Raiola spent the last two seasons as the Cornhuskers' primary signal-caller, racking up 4,819 passing yards and 31 touchdowns in 22 games. He was a five-star recruit in the 2024 class and the highest-ranked pocket passer on <a href="https://www.espn.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/rankings/scnext300boys/_/class/2024/order/true">ESPN's 300</a>. </p><p>The 20-year-old's 2025 season ended in early November after he suffered a broken fibula in a loss to USC. He decided to enter the transfer portal shortly after Nebraska's season ended.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p><a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///ncaaf/players/184061" href="https://thescore.com/ncaaf/players/184061">Dante Moore</a> was Oregon's starter in 2025 as the Ducks went to the College Football Playoff semifinals. He has yet to announce whether he'll declare for the 2026 NFL Draft or return for another campaign.</p><p>Moore started 15 games this year, leading Oregon to a 13-2 record. He completed over 71% of his passes while throwing for 3,565 yards with 30 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He struggled against Indiana in the Ducks' final contest of the year, turning the ball over three times, including a pick-6 on the first play of the game.</p><p>Oregon's 2026 season begins Sept. 5 versus Boise State.</p>
