Watch: Is this the worst umpired at-bat of the season?

Veteran umpire Phil Cuzzi probably won't receive the warmest welcome next time he takes the field at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

In Monday's series opener between the Giants and Phillies in San Francisco, Cuzzi - who was working the plate - burned Philadelphia with the game tied in the bottom of the eighth, delivering what may well be the worst umpired plate appearance of the entire 2025 season.

Sorry, Orion Kerkering. You deserved better.
