The Philadelphia Phillies have agreed to a one-year, $10-million deal with outfielder Max Kepler, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan.
Kepler slashed .253/.302/.380 with eight home runs and 42 RBIs in his 10th season with the Minnesota Twins in 2024.
The German's best season came in 2019 when he slugged a career-high 36 home runs and drove in 90. He enjoyed a strong campaign in 2023, going deep 24 times while posting the second-best OPS (.816) of his career.
The 31-year-old owns a .746 OPS (102 OPS+) across nine seasons.
Where Kepler will play in Philadelphia is to be determined. He's spent the majority of his past few seasons in right field, but he also has MLB experience playing center and first base.
