The New York Yankees have been one of the busiest teams of the offseason, and general manager Brian Cashman doesn't think he's finished.

"Happy with what we've done thus far, but (we) recognize that the competition in our division alone is rather daunting and everybody is going to try to do everything they can to take the World Series title away from the (Los Angeles) Dodgers," Cashman said Wednesday after the Yankees' introductory press conference for left-hander Max Fried, according to SNY.

"Got a lot of heavy lifting that we're doing currently, but more to be done."

Cashman signed Fried to an eight-year, $218-million contract, then traded for closer Devin Williams and former NL MVP Cody Bellinger after the Mets outbid the Yankees for Juan Soto in free agency.

"Conversations will continue with free agents and trade partners," Cashman said. "No guarantees, but we're trying to be aggressive and find ways to improve the team."

Cashman said the Yankees will have an in-person meeting with Japanese pitching phenom Roki Sasaki, according to The Athletic's Chris Kirschner.

The Yankees are also reportedly looking at first basemen Pete Alonso, Christian Walker, Paul Goldschmidt, and Carlos Santana, and they've been linked to third basemen Alex Bregman and Nolan Arenado.

"We're getting after it," Cashman said, according to SNY. "Our intention is to find a way back to the World Series. Stay tuned."
