Montoyo laments Blue Jays' bullpen: 'This is who we've got'

The Toronto Blue Jays' bullpen imploded once again on Tuesday, but manager Charlie Montoyo doesn't seem to expect any reinforcements.
"It's been every fucking month, I mean, the whole month about the same thing. ... These are who we've got, and we're going to trust them. This is who we've got," he said.
"We're here to win games, and it's been frustrating because we have been playing good baseball. When your bullpen struggles, nothing's going to work."

The Blue Jays entered the sixth inning of Tuesday's game with a three-run lead. After ace left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu surrendered one more run, five different relievers were paraded out over the final three frames, surrendering three runs on four hits and two walks.
"We're here to win games," Montoyo added. "It's been frustrating because we have been playing good baseball. It's just that when your bullpen struggles, nothing is going to work."
Tuesday's affair marked the sixth time this season the Blue Jays lost after leading through six innings, according to Jamie Campbell of Sportsnet. Three of those losses came in the past week.
The Blue Jays are an elite run-scoring team, ranking fifth in the American League and fourth by run-differential, according to ESPN. However, the team's relief corps hasn't been able to hold wins. Over the last 30 days, the bullpen's 5.10 ERA and 4.58 FIP rank 25th and 26th, respectively, according to FanGraphs.
The team's woes have been injury-related, as Julian Merryweather, Ryan Borucki, Travis Bergen, Kirby Yates, David Phelps, and A.J. Cole are sidelined.
