The Milwaukee Brewers have reportedly lost another pitcher, as Brent Suter has a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will likely undergo Tommy John surgery, sources told Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.
Suter, 28, has been sidelined since his last start June 22. The Brewers confirmed his torn UCL later Monday, placing Suter on the 10-day disabled list and recalling right-hander Jorge Lopez.

Suter owns a 4.80 ERA and 4.49 FIP over 18 starts and 20 games this year.
Lopez, 25, has acted primarily as a reliever, though he made starts in the minors during the 2017 season. The right-hander owns a 4.08 ERA and 4.02 FIP over 28 2/3 major-league innings.
Without Suter, the Brewers' rotation is down to Chase Anderson, Jhoulys Chacin, and Wade Miley, with Junior Guerra likely to come off of the disabled list to make his next start. Freddy Peralta seems to be the likeliest candidate to fill Suter's spot from the minors.
Despite being somewhat decimated by injuries - Zach Davies and Jimmy Nelson are currently stashed on the DL too - the Brewers' rotation ranks fifth among National League clubs in ERA but 11th by FIP.
Entering play Monday, Milwaukee sits 3 1/2 games back of the Chicago Cubs for the division lead.
