Cincinnati Reds infielder Alex Blandino has been diagnosed with a torn right ACL after an unfortunate accident on Friday during a blowout loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

"I knew right away he was hurt because he was screaming," Moroff said after the game, according to The Athletic's C. Trent Rosecrans.
The 25-year-old Blandino was placed on the 10-day disabled list on Saturday, according to MLB.com's Mark Sheldon, but it's unlikely he'll return this season.
