The Chicago Sky waived guard Hailey Van Lith and signed Natasha Cloud, the team announced Monday.

The Sky's decision to waive Van Lith was based on the team's "style of play preference," and she's speaking with multiple teams, sources told ESPN's Kendra Andrews.

Chicago selected Van Lith 11th overall in last year's draft, reuniting her with former LSU teammate Angel Reese (since traded to the Atlanta Dream). The pick was acquired from the Minnesota Lynx in exchange for Chicago's 2026 first-rounder, which the Lynx eventually used on Olivia Miles.

Van Lith starred in college for Louisville, LSU, and TCU. She was a two-time All-ACC first-team selection, a Big 12 Player of the Year, and an AP All-American.

However, her success didn't carry over to the WNBA. Van Lith averaged 3.5 points and 1.6 assists in 12.4 minutes across 29 appearances during the 2025 campaign.

Cloud, 34, agreed to a one-year deal worth $555,000, sources told The Athletic's Annie Costabile.

The veteran guard spent the previous campaign with the New York Liberty, averaging 10.1 points, 5.1 assists, 3.7 boards, and 1.2 steals across 41 appearances. She's a three-time WNBA All-Defensive team selection.

"Natasha is one of the best passers and defenders in our league. She fits in with the other proven winners on our roster," Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca said in a statement obtained by Andrews.
