While PGA Tour pros cannot compete against each other on the golf course until the coronavirus outbreak slows, many have transitioned to Peloton workouts to push each other during self-isolation.

Justin Thomas and Bubba Watson are taking the obsession to another level by hosting an open workout on the Peloton platform Friday morning.

Rory McIlroy was the first PGA Tour pro to document his stationary-bike workouts. He was even asked about his impressive statistics, which are viewable by other Peloton users, at the Players Championship.

"I enjoy the leaderboard aspect and the fact that it is competitive in some ways and you're always trying to beat your last score," McIlroy said. "It makes me earn my dinners. ... I've been enjoying it."

Billy Horschel joined the party once golf was canceled for the foreseeable future and has been continuously challenging McIlroy. However, the world's top-ranked golfer might be an even better biker.

"Bring it, boys," McIlroy said, after finishing 69th out of nearly 11,500 riders.

When golf will resume remains unknown, but one thing will be certain: When golfers do return, many will be in a lot better shape.
