Koepka discusses nude photo shoot: 'Getting naked is a bit weird'
For Brooks Koepka, stepping out of his comfort zone - and his clothes - to bare it all for the 2019 ESPN Body Issue wasn't easy, especially with dozens of lingering onlookers.
"Getting naked is a bit weird," he said, according to Golf Channel's Rex Hoggard. "The first time you actually pull that robe off in front of 30, 40 people."
The photo shoot - which took place at The Floridian Golf Club in the spring - reached another level of awkwardness when the photographer was trying to get a "face on" picture while Koepka's swing coach, Claude Harmon III, was giving a junior a lesson not too far away.
"I see Claude teaching this maybe 12-year-old kid, and his mom is just over here. I'm like, this is awkward. And Claude's peeking around the corner laughing," Koepka recalled. "You know, it's fun. I'm pretty sure everybody that was at the golf course saw me that day, but whatever."
Now that the photos are out for public consumption, his fellow Tour pros are having fun at Koepka's expense.
The 29-year-old's parking spot for the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club received a new look Friday morning thanks to his friend, Dustin Johnson.

"I think it takes some balls to do it, literally," said Rickie Fowler, who previously turned down an offer to appear in the magazine.
