The Boston Bruins signed forward Marat Khusnutdinov to a three-year contract extension with a $3.95-million cap hit, the team announced Wednesday.
Khusnutdinov has two goals and five points in 10 games this season. He had a career-high 15 goals and 33 points in 77 contests last year.
The 24-year-old was set to become a restricted free agent with arbitration rights in July. Khusnutdinov has a $925,000 cap hit this season.
The Bruins acquired him from the Minnesota Wild in March 2025 along with forward Jakub Lauko and a sixth-round pick in exchange for forward Justin Brazeau.
Khusnutdinov has 23 goals and 54 points in 178 games over four seasons with the Wild and Bruins. Minnesota drafted the Russian 37th overall in 2020.
