Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar is in the lineup for Sunday's Game 3 of the Western Conference Final against the Vegas Golden Knights, the team announced.

Makar missed the first two contests of the series after suffering an injury in Colorado's series-clinching Game 5 win over the Minnesota Wild in Round 2 on May 13.
He appeared to favor his shoulder after a collision with Mats Zuccarello, though he eventually returned to the game.

Makar has notched four goals and one assist in nine contests this postseason. He tallied 79 points in 75 games during the regular season, earning him a Norris Trophy nomination for the sixth straight year.
The Avalanche enter Sunday trailing 2-0 in the series.
