Canadiens F Eller on Oilers: 'They play a little bit like a junior team'

Canadiens forward Lars Eller added a little controversy to the all-Canadian Tuesday matchup between Montreal and the Oilers, comparing Edmonton to a junior hockey team in their unpredictability.

It can be anything, you know? They play a little bit like a junior team, I think, sometimes,” Eller said to Chris Stevenson of canoe.ca. "They take a lot risks, a lot of chances. They’re a little all over the place. There’s not a lot of structure always in their game. It can really be anything. You don’t know. I prefer a little more structured game."

Edmonton sits at the bottom of the Pacific Division and has allowed a league-worst 36 goals - an average of four goals allowed in each of their first nine games.

Eller is tied for the Canadiens scoring lead with Alex Galchenyuk with seven points. Montreal defeated the Oilers 4-1 in Edmonton on Oct. 10.
