Edmonton Oilers defenseman Mike Green will be sidelined three-to-four weeks with a sprained MCL, the team announced Friday.
Green, 34, logged 19:42 of ice time in a loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday, his second game with the Oilers.
Edmonton acquired Green from the Detroit Red Wings ahead of Monday's trade deadline for forward Kyle Brodziak and a conditional draft pick.
The Alberta native has tallied three goals and 11 points through 50 games this season.
