The New York Giants and cornerback Greg Newsome agreed to a three-year extension worth $46 million, his agent told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The deal includes $32 million guaranteed.
Newsome joined the Giants in March on a one-year, $8-million contract. He's registered one interception and 25 tackles in his first season with the club.
Newsome spent the first five seasons of his career with the Cleveland Browns, who drafted him 26th overall out of Northwestern in 2021. He was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars late last season before hitting free agency.
New York currently leads the NFC East at 4-2-1.
