Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is listed as questionable for Sunday's AFC North battle against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The star signal-caller told reporters Friday that he's "heading in the right direction" after suiting up in practice over the last two days, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.
Jackson also confirmed that he's dealing with a high ankle sprain. He's missed the last two contests after suffering the injury in Week 4.
Tyler Huntley has filled in for Jackson. He led the Ravens to a Week 5 win over the Atlanta Falcons, but Baltimore lost 13-10 to the Cleveland Browns last Sunday.
Jackson was off to a terrific start before the injury. He went 3-1 while throwing for 967 yards with six touchdowns and one interception. His 119.6 passer rating leads all qualified quarterbacks.
Safety Jaylinn Hawkins was ruled out against Cincinnati on Friday due to a knee injury. The 29-year-old has played over 80% of the defensive snaps this season after signing with the Ravens in March.
