Tennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh believes that if you sorted all the 0-4 teams in NFL history, the Houston Texans would likely be at the top of the list.
"(They) might be the greatest 0-4 team in the history of football, Saleh said ahead of Sunday's meeting against the Texans. "Their defense is obviously one of the top five units in all of football. They've lost four games to four really, really good football teams."
He added: "They've been on the short end. They've been in a lot of really tight games. I think they've all come down to the last second, with the exception of Cincinnati. I think that one got away from them a little bit."
Saleh is no stranger to the Texans organization, as he first joined the NFL as a coaching intern on Houston's staff in 2005. He also has ties to Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans, who served under Saleh when he was the San Francisco 49ers' defensive coordinator. Ryans later succeeded Saleh as the 49ers' coordinator before leaving for the Texans' head coaching job.
"Overall, well coached," Saleh said. "Lot of respect for DeMeco and his staff."
Saleh's Titans squad also enters the matchup with a 0-4 record.
