The Kansas City Chiefs are interested in reuniting with free-agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill when he's healthy enough to play, sources told The Athletic's Michael Silver.
The 32-year-old is believed to be targeting a November return, Silver adds.
Hill suffered a gruesome leg injury in September 2025 while playing for the Miami Dolphins, causing him to miss the remainder of the season. He tore multiple ligaments in his knee, including his ACL. The Dolphins released him in February.
Kansas City defeated the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday but lost two receivers to injury in the process. Tyquan Thornton is reportedly out indefinitely after suffering a dislocated ankle. Meanwhile, Rashee Rice tweaked his hamstring, head coach Andy Reid said postgame, according to Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest.
The Chiefs have reached out to Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, to discuss the possibility of a renewed partnership. They were reportedly interested in adding him even before the injuries to Thornton and Rice.
Rosenhaus plans to begin negotiating with multiple teams Monday, including the Chiefs, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
"I would anticipate Tyreek potentially signing with a team over the next few days," Rosenhaus said.
Hill seemingly reacted to Thornton's injury on social media during Sunday's game.

Hill racked up four 1,000-yard seasons, earned three first-team All-Pro nods, and won a Super Bowl during his six years in Kansas City. The Chiefs traded him to the Dolphins in March 2022, and he went on to produce back-to-back campaigns of at least 1,700 receiving yards. Hill caught 21 passes for 265 yards over four games in 2025 before injuring his knee.
After Sunday's game, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones all told Silver that they're in favor of bringing back Hill.
