San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans departed Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals on a cart after sustaining a rib injury in the second quarter.
Evans was later ruled out for the remainder of the contest.
The 33-year-old appeared to be in significant pain after taking a hit from Cardinals safety Budda Baker.

Evans hauled in three catches for 34 yards and a touchdown before exiting.
The veteran wideout entered Sunday leading the 49ers with 103 receiving yards through two games. San Francisco signed Evans to a three-year deal as a free agent in the offseason.
